Our Equipment - Our fishing rig is a 20 foot Mako Center Console offshore boat, aptly named “The Hawg Hunter”. The boat, shown in the adjacent picture, is powered by a Honda Four Stroke with comfortable seating for 5 passengers. The Hawghunter
The Hawg Hunter is equipped with state of the art fishing equipment that includes a Lowrance Color Fish Finder with GPS and Cannon Electric Down Riggers.  Manuel has an impressive array of proven “hot spots” programmed into the GPS, greatly increasing your opportunity for a successful fishing trip!

Arrangements - All tackle is furnished. All you need to bring is food, drink, camera, and rain gear. Your catch will be cleaned and packaged, ready for the grill or freezer. Or, if you land a nice one in the 40 pound-plus size, you might consider having it mounted. We can help you with local taxidermy arrangements.

Manuel can pick you up at the Almost Home Houseboats dock at North Shores Resort Marina (call for directions) or from your houseboat’s back door, whichever is most convenient for you.

Rates and Reservations - Rates vary depending on the number in your party. Please refer to the rate schedule below. Our rates haven't changed in three years--we are STILL the most reasonably priced striper guide service on Lake Ouachita.

Rate Schedule:
$250.00 half day (4-5 hours) for 1-2 persons
$400.00 full day (7-8 hours) for 1-2 persons
Additional charge of $125.00 per person up to 5 total persons.
Children 15 and under fish for free with a paid adult.
A $100.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your trip.
We provide morning or afternoon and evening trips; whatever works best for you and your group.
